Abi works with your child on the parts of English they find difficult, from KS3 through GCSE language and literature. Reading closely, shaping an argument and expressing ideas clearly are all part of the picture.

We cover OCR, Pearson Edexcel and AQA. Tell us your child’s subject, board and course so we can discuss the right support, including any set texts or case studies.
Ask Abi about English preparation for 11+ and 13+ entrance exams, including Common Entrance. Let us know the school and assessment so we can confirm the right fit and resources.
Choose individual attention or learning alongside a small group at a similar stage. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll discuss the arrangement and group fees.

Abi studied English at Queen Mary University of London and has since taught at Dauntsey’s. Her favourite book is The Camomile Lawn by Mary Wesley.

Jack studied Geography with Sports Management at Loughborough University and has since taught at Pembroke House (Kenya), Eastbourne College and is currently a full-time teacher of Geography at Dauntsey’s.

STEP 01
Tell us your child’s year group, subject and what they’d like help with. A little more confidence, an exam ahead, or a topic that just hasn’t clicked.
STEP 02
We’ll talk through what your child needs, choose the right tutor and agree the focus, lesson format and a time that works.
STEP 03
We’ll send an invitation to Google Classroom for resources and tasks, plus a Google Meet link for live lessons. We’ll help you check the setup before you begin.
STEP 04
Join Abi or Jack for your lesson, then return to Classroom for shared materials and feedback. Each next step builds on what your child needs.

Yes, in-person tuition is available by arrangement. We’ll discuss the practical details with you directly.
Tell us your preferred days and times and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. If your child needs both subjects, ask about arranging English and Geography lessons one after the other.
Both Abi and Jack are DBS checked.
Before lessons begin, we’ll discuss the practical arrangements with you, including parent presence, online supervision and who to contact with a concern.
